Landscapes
These images were created for a uni project where we had to create a thematic set of images along the theme of landscapes. I wanted to tie in visual elements of mans impact on the land. How climate change and rising sea levels are chipping away at our coastlines. I mixed mirror imagery with some of the pictures to build a sense of space of symmetry. All the images were shot on 120mm on a vintage Rolliecord, self processed then scanned. In editing I cleaned up the scans to remove dust and scratches/imperfections. Then I applied colour toning as well as dodging and burning to enhance the final image. To breakup the obvious mirror image I placed them off centre and clone stamped out areas on one half of the image.
