Why use a professional voiceover for local radio?

Despite the dominance in digital streaming services, radio is still one of the most effective ways of reaching an audience to promote your products and services.

Many independent radio stations boast thousands of listeners every week! So getting your message heard by a wide audience in your local area is both accessible and cost effective compared to other forms of marketing.

Of course first impressions count, so having the right voice that will deliver your script and connect with your audience is paramount! As a professional voiceover I have years of experience in delivering different styles that your script might call for. What does it cost?

There are typically multiple factors when it comes to pricing a job for radio. Whether I’m working directly with a radio station, or a client that is self-producing their commercial for broadcast there are several factors to consider:

• Which station is airing the commercial
• How many stations the commercial is going to be broadcast on
• How long the commercial is going to air (usage)

That said, I align my fees for ILR with published Equity rates, so in most cases for you can expect fees to start from 30 GBP per commercial, per station. This also includes 12 months usage in the fee. For larger media groups like Bauer the fee will be slightly higher.

My fee includes the hire of my studio and equipment, so you don’t incur any additional costs. The studio has been purpose built to provide broadcast quality audio so you can rest assured you’re getting the best quality audio for your project.

I’m also remote capable, meaning that if you’d like to be part of a live directed session you can. This is a great way to hear your script come to life in real time. Directed sessions are a popular choice because you can provide real-time feedback and receive a more honed delivery to your liking.

Of course not everyone has the time to jump on directed sessions, and I’m more than happy to deliver a read based on direction over email. If for any reason you’re not happy with the initial read, I can provide additional reads with any changes you request.

I offer all my clients a satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you’re not happy with the work delivered let me know within 48 hours of delivery. I’ll confirm that the job has been cancelled and that you wont be billed.
